B2 Spirit

Still in use today, this stealth bomber is nothing but wings. Based off of the YB49 Flying Wing prototype, the B2 Spirit is powered by four General Electric 17,300Ib thrust F-118-GE-100 engines, with a maximum speed of about 628mph. So, the wings. These wings are big, and I mean it. The wingspan is about 172ft! That’s one heck of a wingspan! The Spirit isn't just known for its wings, but it is also known for its “invisibility” to radar. That's why it’s called a “stealth bomber”. Its maximum number of bombs is around 40,000. This thing must have a very big bomb bay! Here is something you should know. A B2 Spirit has a bathroom! Yes, a bathroom! So, why does it have a bathroom? Well, the Spirit usually goes on long missions, and it can basically drive itself. So, the pilots don't need to hold onto the joysticks and drive. They can easily just go to the bathroom. So, I have already told you the wingspan, but not the length. The length is 69ft. That’s small for a bomber. So, that’s the spirit!
